National Scholar's bank of over 26,000+ questions (and growing weekly) are aligned to current curriculum
benchmarks by our team of professional educators as well as being subject to individual peer review coupled with
statistical analysis.
Definitive statistics are kept on each question, including p-values and demographic normalization.
The National Scholar Curriculum Standards for Mathematics and Language Arts (ELA) are carefully validated and
based on nationally accredited
and peer-accepted curriculum such as that provided through the National Reading List,
the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics, the National Council of Teachers of English, the National Science
Foundation, and various state-level standards.
◊
National Scholar maintains a National Curriculum Clearninghouse that provides a growing baseline alignment between
individual state standards and our National Scholar Standards for Mathematics and Languages arts, allowing us to
access individual and specific state process (teaching) standards for a given National Scholar benchmark process standard.
Benchmarks are correlated to state standards using our unique (and patent-pending) nested set structure -- providing
precise correlation to the exact mandated standards -- regardless of level of complexity. We use ongoing
peer-review to validate every link.
◊
In addition to correlating state curriculum to our test bank, we also are building the largest library of
correlated educational content in the world. We call these instructional units "Learn*Links". Learn*Links are
available at each benchmark standard and provide the framework for our Instruction*Navigator.
◊
Instruction∇Navigator is National Scholar's unique (and patent-pending) capability of allowing every student to
"drill down" to precedent and underlying concepts upon which any benchmark standard is based. This allows every
student to quite literally "learn at her own speed" -- unhindered by classroom dynamics.
◊
National Scholar is, quite literally, the most powerful and sophisticated learning environment in the world.
